Washington Post Lies

"Takeover by Hamas illustrates Failure of Bush's Mideast Vision" barks the Washington Post. What sort of intellectual turd could draw such a conclusion? The takeover of Hamas has nothing to do with Bush and everything to do with the Israeli refusal to deal with the legitimate aspirations of a people who have been denied basic human rights time and time again based on the kook Israeli notion that God Himself has given them the land of Israel. Surely God has better things to do with His time than assign land rights to selfish, greedy shits whose actions across the entire spectrum of repression would please even Hitler.

What neither the left or the right in this country seem to realize is that Hamas is very clear about what it wants, is disciplined and refuses to play the games that Fatah played with their enemy. Yassir Arafat was famous for blathering about freeing Israel for the Palestinians but took millions of dollars worth of Israeli aid to, in fact, tolerate Israeli actions. The Israelis have a worthy adversary in Hamas and perhaps with a real battle looming a compromise based on respect can be engineered once the lies and the bs subsides.

The land of Israel must belong to both peoples and until both sides come to understand this, they will be at each other's throats.
